Sujey Myers, LPC-A
I specialize in working with adults facing depression, anxiety, PTSD, and a variety of other challenges. My primary goal is to help clients achieve mental wellness by addressing the concerns that weigh on them. This includes alleviating symptoms of mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, and trauma, enhancing overall emotional well-being, and developing effective coping mechanisms to manage stress and life’s challenges. Together, we work on improving problem-solving skills and fostering a deeper understanding of oneself and one’s motivations.
My therapeutic approach combines person-centered therapy and narrative therapy. I believe that creating a comfortable and supportive environment is essential to uncovering the root of issues and striving toward meaningful goals.
I speak Spanish and have a deep understanding of multicultural concerns in mental health care. I also provide a nonjudgmental and affirming space for members of the kink community, recognizing the importance of addressing unique experiences and challenges with sensitivity and respect.
My name is Sujey (pronounced Sue-hay), and I am an LPC-A under the supervision of Dr. Noel Gonzalez, LPC-S. I am committed to helping individuals navigate past traumas and life’s difficulties while progressing on their mental health journey. My mission is to support you in uncovering the tools you already possess to become the person you aspire to be.
