Therapy in Washington
Love Let Out is a telehealth therapy practice offering online sessions throughout Washington State, as well as Oregon and Texas. Washington clients work with our founder Cody Glover, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, for LGBTQIA+ affirming, non-monogamy, kink, neurodivergent, and religious trauma focused care. Every session happens by secure video, so it does not matter if you are in Seattle, Spokane, Vancouver, or somewhere the map barely names.
Why is it hard to find an affirming therapist?
Because most therapists are trained to be tolerant, not fluent. Tolerance means they will not judge you. Fluency means you never have to spend a session defining metamour, explaining why your D/s dynamic is not abuse, or justifying why you left the church your family still attends.
If you have paid to educate your own therapist, you know the difference. At Love Let Out, we are not poly friendly, we are poly native. What makes us weird makes us wonderful, not wrong.
Who provides therapy at Love Let Out in Washington?
All Washington sessions are provided by our founder, Cody Glover, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington who also holds LPC-S licenses in Texas and Oregon. Cody has been in private practice since December 2018 and works with open and non-monogamous relationships, kink and BDSM, LGBTQIA+ clients, and people reshaping or leaving their faith, including secular, pagan, and alternative paths.
We added Washington in 2026 for a simple reason. Clients we had worked with for years moved north, and we were not willing to hand them a referral list and wish them luck. Cody became licensed in Washington so they would not have to start over, and now that door is open to you too. Our other clinicians are licensed in Texas only, so if you are in Washington, Cody is your person.
What kinds of therapy do you offer in Washington?
We offer individual and relationship therapy by telehealth across five specialties. Those are LGBTQIA+ affirming therapy, open relationships and ethical non-monogamy, kink and BDSM affirming therapy, neurodivergent-affirming therapy, and religious trauma recovery. Whether you identify as mono-poly, relationship anarchist, a closed polycule, or you are still figuring out what to call it, we have been there.
We also run group therapy periodically. No groups are enrolling right now, but if a group interests you, mention it when you reach out and we will add you to the interest list for upcoming groups.
If what you need sits outside our lane, we will say so. If the primary concern is trauma needing EMDR, we refer to an EMDR practitioner. We simply cannot know what you need until we talk.
Do you offer in-person sessions in Washington?
No. Love Let Out is a fully telehealth practice with no physical offices in any state. That means no waiting room, no commute, and access to a specialty practice even if the nearest affirming therapist is three hours from your town.
Washington requires counselors to give clients a written disclosure statement before services begin, and you will receive ours before your first session so you know exactly who we are and how we work.
