Trainings & Speaking

Speaking and trainings

Love Let Out is a specialty telehealth therapy practice that provides expert speaking engagements, trainings, and professional consultation on LGBTQIA+ affirming care, open relationships and ethical non-monogamy, kink and BDSM, neurodivergent-affirming care, and religious trauma recovery. We present for small groups, schools, hospitals, mental care facilities, conferences, businesses, and media. Booking runs through our Corporate Manager, The Amazing Allie, at Allie@LoveLetOut.com.

You have probably sat through the training that treated your community, or your clients' communities, as a bullet point. A presenter defines polyamory from a slide and gets it wrong. Someone asks a question about kink and the room gets a nervous laugh instead of an answer. If you are the person responsible for booking that training, you know how hard it is to find a speaker who actually lives and works inside these communities instead of researching them the week before.

That is the gap we fill. At Love Let Out, we are not poly friendly, we are poly native. We founded this practice to support underserved, marginalized populations, prioritizing Non-Monogamous, Kink, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, Neurodivergent, and Disabled communities, and our speaking and training work carries that same commitment to social justice, liberation, and mental health equity.

What topics do we speak and train on?

We speak and train on our five clinical specialties: LGBTQIA+ affirming care, open relationships and ethical non-monogamy, kink and BDSM-affirming care, neurodivergent-affirming care, and religious trauma recovery including secular, pagan, and alternative faith paths. These are the communities we treat every day, so the material comes from caseloads and lived experience, not a literature review.

Common requests include working with polyamorous clients and polycules, which draws on the same clinical foundation as our polyamory affirming therapy, understanding consent and power exchange for providers new to kink and BDSM-affirming care, recognizing and treating religious trauma including purity culture and faith transitions, and building genuinely LGBTQIA+ affirming services rather than a rainbow sticker on the door.

If your topic sits at the intersection of several of these, even better. Most of the people we serve live at those intersections too.

Who do we present for?

We present for small groups, schools, hospitals, mental care facilities, conferences, and businesses, and we are available for interviews and media appearances. Audiences have included clinical teams who want to stop losing clients in the first session, staff groups building competency with communities they rarely discuss, and organizations that want their next training led by someone who does not need the vocabulary explained to them.

What makes our trainings different?

Our trainings are taught by clinicians who belong to the communities they teach about. Coming into alternative worlds, we saw people go to amazing therapists who just did not understand. Clients spent their first sessions teaching the vocabulary of their daily lives, metas, polycules, on and off premises, before any actual clinical work could start. Our trainings exist so your team never puts a client in that position.

That means real case-informed teaching, insider vocabulary used correctly and without apology, and honest scope. We will tell you what we know deeply and refer you elsewhere for what we do not. Founder Cody Glover, LPC-S in Texas and Oregon and Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington, is Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level 3 Trained, AASECT trained, Clinical Trauma Professional Level II Certified, and Positive Psychology Certified.

Do we offer professional consultation for clinicians?

Yes. We offer professional consultation for therapists and organizations who want guidance on affirming care with LGBTQIA+, non-monogamous, kink, neurodivergent, and religiously traumatized clients.

For associates seeking ongoing supervision rather than consultation, we also provide clinical supervision for Texas LPC Associates and Oregon LPC Registered Associates, built on a 52-week structured curriculum aligned to Texas BHEC and Oregon OBLPCT standards.

How do you book a speaking engagement or training?
