Grief and Loss

When we have lost someone, through moves, break ups, deescalation, or death the brain takes about a year to process the loss. Many are somewhat familiar with different Stages of Grief, here are a couple other tools.

It is worth knowing the first year of loss the brain is often trying to understand “Why when I close my eyes the person is still ‘there’, but when I open them, they are not ‘here’.
